SubSphere Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
SubSphere ("App", "we", "us") helps you track personal subscriptions and recurring expenses on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored on your phone, what limited data may be processed by third parties (such as RevenueCat or Firebase), and your choices. We do not operate a cloud service that stores your subscription list, and there is no user account or login in the current version.
The data controller is the individual developer publishing SubSphere under the The Dynamic Studios brand. The Dynamic Studios is not a company.
1. Data controller
| Field | Information |
|---|---|
| Data controller (individual) | The Dynamic Studios |
| App | SubSphere (iOS) |
| Bundle ID | com.dynamicstudios.subsphere |
| Contact (privacy / KVKK / GDPR) | support.thedynamicstudios@gmail.com |
| Website | https://www.thedynamicstudios.com/en/apps/subsphere |
2. What stays on your device
The following is stored locally in the app database on your iPhone (not on our servers):
- Subscriptions you add (from the catalog or manually), amounts, billing cycles, and currencies
- Payment history and calendar entries you create in the app
- Analytics views and spending breakdowns derived from your local data
- Preferences such as locale, theme, base currency, and freemium action counter
- Onboarding state and optional notification schedules for payment reminders
- Cached exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (refreshed over the network)
CSV export uses the system share sheet — you choose where the file goes; we do not receive a copy.
Clear local data in settings deletes subscriptions, preferences, the freemium counter, and onboarding state on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes local data.
3. What we do not collect in the MVP
- No registration, email, or password in the app
- No cloud backup or sync of your subscription list
- No push notification service (e.g. OneSignal) — optional reminders use on-device local notifications only
- No location, camera, contacts, or health data
4. Third-party processors
We use the services below. Each receives only what is needed for its role; see their privacy policies for details.
| Provider | Role | Data involved | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| RevenueCat | In-app purchase & subscription status | Anonymous app user ID, subscription status, Apple transaction metadata per RevenueCat / Apple policies | United States |
| Apple App Store | Billing & store infrastructure | Payment processing per Apple policies; we do not receive card numbers | US / Global |
| Firebase (Google) | Analytics & Crashlytics (production builds when enabled) | Usage events, device/app metadata, crash stack traces — not your subscription amounts or service names by design | US / Global |
| Frankfurter API | Exchange rates | Currency codes and public FX rates; no subscription list content | EU (public API) |
5. Permissions (iOS)
- Notifications (optional): If you enable payment reminders, iOS asks for permission; schedules are stored on the device.
- Network: Exchange rates, subscription verification (RevenueCat / Apple), and — in production — analytics and crash reporting.
6. Children
SubSphere is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Legal bases (summary)
- Contract / service delivery: Running the app and validating Premium via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Legitimate interests: Security, crash diagnosis, and aggregated analytics in production builds, where applicable.
- Consent: Optional notifications; you can revoke permission in iOS Settings.
For users in Türkiye (KVKK) and the EEA/UK (GDPR), you may contact us to exercise access, deletion, or objection rights regarding data we process as controller (e.g. support email). Most subscription content is controlled by you on-device via Clear local data or uninstall.
8. International transfers
Some providers (e.g. RevenueCat, Google Firebase, Apple) may process data in the United States or other countries. We do not represent that an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses apply on your behalf; please review each provider's terms and contact us if you have questions.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes may be noted in the app or on this page.
